Overview
Freedom Finance realise that there can be some confusion amongst affiliates regarding Financial Advertising regulations. We want to make it clear on what you can and cannot do while giving you the flexibility that you need to maximise your revenue.
Giving affiliates the flexibility will allow Freedom Finance to:
- Empower publishers to find many ways to drive conversions
- Maximise brand reach online
However, we are keen to ensure that we avoid the following:
- Freedom Finance brand abuse when undesirable content is adopted
- Alteration of creative and destination URLs in ways that are inconsistent with the Freedom Finance brand or financial advertising regulations
Instances of this will mean that affiliates are disqualified from the program and commissions not paid.

Which Regulatory Body For Which Product? |
There are different Regulatory bodies in place for different products which Freedom Finance offer. For all Secured Loans activity it is CCA regulations while FSA regulations govern mortgage activity.
The only Affiliate Campaign that is currently being undertaken is the Secured Loans campaign. Therefore all affiliates who are providing loan applications to Freedom Finance must adopt the CCA approach. If you would like a copy of this document, please email us and we will forward it across to you.

What Degree of Flexibility do I Have as an Affiliate? |
We have made loads of creatives and links for you to use. We want to provide you with as much as possible so that the scope for creativity is enough to maximise conversions. If there is something that you require that is not on the site then please email us and we should be able to help.

Banners and Buttons? |
There are banners of all different shapes and sizes for you to upload on your site. Please be sure to track the links accurately so that we can tell which creatives are working best. When we know this we can concentrate on making the best converting creatives available.

Text Links? |
We have a huge variety of text links for you to use please email us if you would like to receive the text links. This is to help you create traffic. However you have the flexibility to run with your own text and copy. As loans are covered by CCA regulations, the regulations state that the Typical APR must be specified if the advertisement indicates - in any way - that any terms on which credit is available is more favourable. For example, Debt Consolidation is such a case.
Outside of this, you have the flexibility to upload whatever you feel will drive the traffic as long as it is factually correct. You must provide legal and up to date information – that’s your responsibility!

Keyword Bidding? |
We are fully aware that this is a huge part of the affiliate program and are fully encouraging affiliates to include this within their campaign. There are recommended keywords available on this site for you to download. You can add more if you wish. However you cannot bid on the Freedom Finance brand term without written authorisation from us. You may not bid on our competitors’ trademarks either.
Affiliates may not use the Freedom Finance name within marketing URLs. For example www.freedomfinance.affiliatesite.com may not be used on keyword marketing activities (e.g. Google listings.) All keyword landing and gateway pages must clearly be labeled as an Affiliate Site and be 100% compliant. This page cannot simply replicate the client's site.
Titles and descriptions are also available on this site, but again we are giving you the flexibility to create your own. We want to ensure you have the opportunity to drive the maximum amount of applications. Again, you must provide legal and up to date information – that’s your responsibility!

Additional Creative Types ? |
These are available on request. We encourage affiliates to run with different types of creatives. If you require sign off for anything, please do not hesitate to email us.
